Ghostface Killah feat Raekwon - Apollo Kids

I don't know if its blasphemous to refer to something to feeling like a Born Again Christian but that is how I've felt when it comes to hip hop this year; its like I'm born again and really falling in love with its raw essence. Everything seems so top heavy when talking about the best and all that and whenever the discussions are made its always who's hot at the time or whatever but I guess I'm starting to understand why some would say LL killed it or a Tribe Called Quest even Busta Rhymes for example should always be in those discussions because throughout time some classic hip hop come out and people are easy to forget. I've been going back and listening to a lot of stuff from the 90s I "liked" but with a deeper understanding and are beginning to "love" only further fueling my passion for hip hop. Along my own personal history lesson I've learned I've been hiding my affinity for the Shaolin Masters from Staten Island; the Wu Tang Clan and I'm starting to realize the originality and package they bring to the game. I remember listening to Only Built for Cuban Linx 2 from Rae and wondering why I never listened to these dudes more growing up especially sleeping on Ghostface's solo career. Ghostface has quietly been one of the best rappers since Enter the Wu, his raps are so creative to the point he can take ownership over them and they flow in a stream of consciousness and I never realized it but he has had a consistent solo career being able to evolve from the Wu sound all while creating his own brand. I among many hip hop fans have murderously slept on Ghost but thats the power of hip hop I want fuck the numbers fuck the fame but perfecting and expanding on craft to the point that somebody who was 7 when your music came out can become one of your biggest fans at 24; that is what make me feel like a born again christian I see the light.

Who else can look fresh rapping with the robe and an ice cream
