The meticulous process of being a fashion designer includes many things and among them is inspiration; taking everyday things we see and feel and putting into clothes. Some have it and some don't, well don't know they have it but I've been learning designers high end or wherever find inspiration from the palette that is everyday life and embrace thoughts that many people let fleet their minds; letting the creative spark explode (something I am learning to cultivate). Take British designer Christopher Kane whom for his new mensline found inspirations in "explosions" and "spacial landscapes" creating essentially an original design which I spotted at the RSVP gallery. Inspiration fuels motivation and motivation leads to things getting done but we all know way more is needed for the formula.
