Behind the ever changing style of Kanye West are designers that become the mainstay of whatever look he is practicing; it was Louis Vutton, Ralph Lauren when we introduced to him, to the satin get-up at the Grammys then on to Bape, Dior and his dive into the fashion world designing shoes and wearing YSL. Lately in his return to music he has gone with the slip-on loafers with custom tuxedos and casual shirts for the sophisticated look found in his Runaway project; and I wondering which designer had designed these threads. I guessed it was French but it was done by Philip Lim a designer from based in New York and as perfectly complimented by Kanye is inspired by different aspects of everyday life that helps him turn simple into sophisticated with out trying. His work is almost 80s but seems in its own lane because the pieces are loose fitting and just have a somewhat intriguing look as seen in the Runaway film, here are some pieces from his Spring show.
