This sounds all too familiar to me; two brothers who found a passion for something honed their skills and became successful together, no I'm not talking about me and my brother but fashion designers Doug and Ben Berkman who make up Berkman Bros. Developing a taste for style side by side growing up in Canada mixed with the entrepreneurial itch they eventually landed at Gap designing together and eventually stepped out to do their own thing together. Today Berkman Bros is a casual line that finds itself treading on formal water because of they attention and dedication to style to which they credit to traveling and finding inspiration in oddities and hoping to make them "cool". The Berkmans play close attention to detail because they do things like simply evolving something like the casual plaid shirt and sitting there and designing their own cloth patterns keep their line going fresh.
